Paper Flowers for Mom's Birthday

Happy April! Wow, can you believe it's April already? April brings wonderful things besides showers around here, it brings my Mother's birthday for a start, and my parents wedding anniversary near the end. Today's project is a simple way to make a bouquet of paper flowers like the tin bucket full I made that is shown in the video.

For this project you will need:

Flower Punch about 1 1/2 inches in size
Patterned Paper that is double sided- I used the Stampin' Up! Salebrations Designer Series Paper Pack
Glue Dots
Brads
Floral wire
Florist tape
Ribbon- I used SU! Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, and Very Vanilla 1/4 grosgrain ribbon
Vessel for your bouquet- I used a tin bucket
Styrofoam filler
Lace pieces

Leaves- Cut using my Cricut Dis Cutting machine- and Walk In the Garden Cartridge-Leaf #3
Butterflys were punched out using Martha Stewarts 2 Butterfly Punches.

Thank you Candy for helping me fluff up the flowers!

I hope you enjoy the simple technique, and make a bunch of these for your friends and family.

Wishing you a creative week!

Happy Birthday Mom!
